This photograph of a snowy egret was taken at the Malibu lagoon by Mark Farber.  I love it so much, I decided to write a poem!

egret white as snow

curving in a question

mark your reflection

in circles of infinitely wet

answers long and rippling

golden eyes see dimensions

of a feathery perimeter as now
